Course Introduction:
Congratulations on taking the first step toward gaining control of your life and becoming more proactive! My promise to you is that, if you see this programme through to the end, you will find yourself in a totally different, more motivated headspace. You will have more clarity on why you keep getting stuck as well as the ability to break that self-imposed glass ceiling.
I’ve previously suffered from a total lack of discipline which meant that no matter how many times I tried to make a change in my life, I didn’t hold myself to a high enough standard to see any of my goals through to the end. This left me constantly feeling stuck, lost, and unfulfilled. Once I changed my mindset to think of the desired end outcome rather than my current situation, I stopped making excuses and started to see real results. One of my biggest lessons came from starting my own business. Procrastination added years onto my goals, each year that passed taking me further away from the life I wanted to live, until I stopped living in denial and realised, I was standing in my own way due to pure fear. Whatever your reason for being stuck, you too can overcome your inaction using the tips that helped me build habits that changed my life forever.
This course works by combining seven steps which build the foundation for preventing procrastination in your life and taking action, now and in the future. I will talk you through each stage of the programme to make it as simple and effective for you as possible but please use this workbook to help you to fully understand each step and partake in the corresponding activities. You cannot unlock the next step without completing the previous one so think of this as a little challenge for yourself and your mind.
You may notice that each step in this programme includes something I call a “mind hack” – these are quick and simple tips that may help you. I use this term because, like a computer, the brain can quite literally be hacked, re-wired and re-programmed to control the structure of our thoughts.
To get the most out of this course, please make it manageable for yourself so that it fits around your daily life. As there are a total of seven steps, I recommend you focus on one per day, scheduling around one hour a day to dedicate to your ESC Mindfulness journey. This will make the programme digestible and memorable enough for you. If that sounds like too much, spread the steps out to every other day and see how you get on. The most important thing is don’t rush and do it at your own pace. Don’t forget, once you have unlocked all the steps in this course, the information will be available to you indefinitely for you to come back to whenever you fall off track. This document can also be printed if you find it easier to fill it in by hand.
Good luck & enjoy!
